But you have to search for it under "half oval." If you look under stem band you get only plastic stuff.

Am I correct in assuming you put this stuff on after glassing and that you only do it from the tip of the boat down along the curve until it flattens out on the bottom? If there is a little bit of a keel, could you run the entire length of the boat for abrasion resistance?

: The "Official" stuff for this purpose is "stem band".
: Hamilton Marine has the stuff. This is usually mounted by screwing in
: place. It will be harder than copper and more abrasion resistant. It is
