Well, it floats alright. What a fun day we had. The family and Robin (the guy with the shop space and next in line) went to the river to check the yak out. It handled like a dream. A little wobbly, but it took some serious leaning to get it to start going over. Should be a nice boat for the delta. Three of the four paddlers have never been in a sea kayak before and no one went swimming.
The good news is that my 4 year old had enough fun paddling that the Boss said I could build him one. Yeah!!!!!!! Project #4.
