I intend to put the graphite on the bottom of my hybrid (plywood hull). based on what I saw in a store in Edmonton, it seemed to help alot for scratches. However the guy in the shop told me the trade off is you can not see the wood, thus you can sustain a blow that will damage the fiberglass/wood and not realize how bad it is, because the fiberglas is opaque with the carbon in it. However for scratches, he convinced me it really helps.

I'd also apreciate other's experinces with the stuff.
