i guess i do it differently. i cut the imaginary section in the design and put the form on whatever side of that section location line on the stronback that the strip would touch. in general terms the form thicknes is to the cockpit side of these strongback lines. espec at the ends.

it's the only way i could knowingly control locations where there is sharp(for me) curvature.

essentially the form spacing has (for me) to be different than the section spacing, unless the edges are shaped.
