:Some answers (based on bldg. a Ches. 17')
1) Only the coaming and maybe the hatches had full sized drawings.
2) The plywood panels were cut by marking offsets on the panels every foot or so, and then laying a batten against thin nails to get a fair curve...a line was drawn with the batten in place, and two panels were cut at a time, back-to back, so that the panels were identical in size and shape.
3) The plywood was scarphed and glued with epoxy to make long length panels.
(remember, my recollections are from a CH 17', and dated a couple of years...you might want to get the New Kayak Shop at the library to see how S&G is done in general, although some aspects probably won't apply to your specific boat).
