Hi Ken, I'm intruiged by outrigger canoes too. I have done periodic searches as well. Try searching on "Proa" or "Pacific Proa". You'll find the correct type but mostly in factory made Fiberglass. You might offer to purchase offsets from the designer if you find a model you like - can't hurt to ask.

Todd Bradshaw's book "Canoe Rig" also has some study plans for proas but no offsets are available. Canoe Rig is a great book; it's published by Wooden Boat... A canoe is a good candidate for a proa if you intend to sail it - sailing proas are always double enders.

Chesapeake Light Craft www.clcboats.com sells outrigger plans for it's regular kayaks. I have not tried one out. Nick has a drawing of one on his "On the Drawing Board" page http://www.guillemot-kayaks.com/Building/Guillemot/DrawingBoard/Drawing.html too. I hope that helps Ken. Good luck with it.
