since they're not available and since you want one now or soon, take the ideas of yours and chips and modify a clc set of plans.

so buy a pax20 planset and gamble $100 of ply that you can expand the plans by say 10% in length(for 22') and width reduce by say 10% also. push the width narrower if more of a gambler. (keep the original plans)
make a flat top by extending the rear deck forward another 14in for yr new seat area,put in a sloped bulkhead, run say 16in foot lenght(for variable pple) put up a sloping forward bulkhead and trim off the front deck to this line. (straight forward, just playing w/ straight pces on the original)

for the ama, just make the whole thing say 40% of this (check basic proportions from real oc-1s). but it would sure be nice if it was even narrower. . . . . . .

but now you see what has happened??

what has happened is that you will be making a narrower smaller test version of what you want. it is or couldbe or should be or double as a model. it is a test for the approach for the larger. it uses way less mat'l.

so test your patterns out on the ama.if they work, as the main hull will be proportially wider, they'll HAVE to work for it. so now you're only gambling say 30bucks of ply. or if a scrap model, a few bucks of extra ply left over from the clc17lt you already built.

or if you're still scared shztless, test make an ama for the ama, which in turn is now a model but a model for which model or IS it now a model?? and how much less is the ply for this????

in short, there is scope at a few levels. even if the model of the model screws up, you still have the pax20 plans and $100 bucks of ply ready to go.
