Hi Grant -
I built Vaclav's Cape Ann Storm. When I asked him about the Cirrus he commented that it had comparable displacement to the Storm, sort of like a hard-chined Storm. He also thought the Cirrus had a bit more room. Both Vaclav and I are big guys. I'm 6'1" and 220lbs. The Cirrus has a Swede hull form, as do all Vaclav's designs. I REALLY like my Storm. Negligible weathercocking, solid tracking, very manueverable, rock solid in confused seas, lots of glide, plenty comfortable. The Cirrus should track even better than the Storm thanks to the hard-chines. Check out the Storm and you'll see the similiarities to the Cirrus. It looks like one fine boat!
