circ saw as table saw

i've done a semi fair amt of cutting and have burned out one circ saw doing this. Its pretty easy to get carried away and use it as a table saw and over stress the poor little thing.

you do not want to reach under to turn on or off - mount a receptacle or near the front to plug in so you can pull out real quick. i used an ordinary switch w/ a plug, but one shoul be slightly careful abt sparking under full load.

the biggest safety drawback to using circ saws is the guard and shield when upside down make an enclosed gutter around the blade that can and does fill up w/ detritus and not fall freely away like a regular. so keep an eye peeled.
