Thanks for all the links, just have to figure out which one works best for me. I like the harbor freight, easy, simple and very portable. Some of those free trees are out in thickets of gorse. This stuff is nasty!! Deer in a fire won't run through it, it has thorns that can be over an inch long and sharp as needles. It has a high oil content and is almost impossible to destroy once it has a foot hold. I tried to find some of it in long enough sections to make paddle handles, I figured it would work great. When I go back I'll try to find some of the old stuff that is in the of the property, maybe it will be long enough. Again thanks for the help! I'll let you know how the trees work out. I brought a couple lenghts home to try with a 10" skill saw.
