consider Nicks Night Heron if the user is intending on paddling the boat in waves above 1', otherwise watch out for the glass crinking a lot at the stern when wiring the panel to conform to the transom, eliminate the under deck carlins and put in a longtitudinal strip with the aft 2' doubled glassed underneath, consider eliminating the front transom and cutting the skeg-like entry a few inches (vertical bow spray in kayak will get friends to notice "wow a turbulator", don't bother with a skeg,put in a racing rudder.
Given that it's a quasi racing design it might be worthwhile to get the feedback of an experienced racer that has paddled it before putting in all that labor.
