The sad thing is I live on PEI, and had searched the net for 30 minutes before posting as I found nothing of interest. the first url you provided is about a 30 minute drive from me! LOL

This is good news. I just wanted to make sure the wood wasn't known for emitting a shark-lure-like smell into the water or somthing. LOL Not always best to save the few extra pennies... ;)

I only thought of it as some people here use it for decks as it's like a cheap cedar (if somewhat rough) in that it is very naturally rot resistant.
