: The sad thing is I live on PEI, and had searched the net for 30 minutes
: before posting as I found nothing of interest. the first url you provided
: is about a 30 minute drive from me! LOL
Service like that you can't find anywhere else on the net for twice the price, but really, it was just coincidence. It also helps that you are probably in tamarack central headquarters, which is why there is so much available around you.
: This is good news. I just wanted to make sure the wood wasn't known for
: emitting a shark-lure-like smell into the water or somthing. LOL Not
: always best to save the few extra pennies...
There should be good money in catching sharks for restaurants. (You wouldn't need a wood to attract them -- blood would be sufficient.) Anyhow, once the wood is sealed under a couple coats of epoxy it shouldn't leach anything into the water.
: I only thought of it as some people here use it for decks as it's like a
: cheap cedar (if somewhat rough) in that it is very naturally rot
: resistant.
I don't think it is as light weight as cedar, and it sounds like it is tougher and stronger.
glad to have been of some assistance
