The different color is simply turning over the panels of Luan. The best side (lightest) is pretty but I wanted a contrast without looking for mahogany or something. You could really get fancy by turning the panels as you scarf, but I get confused as to what will end up where. I tried to make a design of an arrow.

Sorry about that, I will repost them, I am trying to keep up with bowhunting for deer, building the yak, and keeping up with the documentation on the website, ha. I don't know how those guys do it!

I will do some more organizing of the website soon and post more pictures. I just finished putting the final putty on the deck (no wires now). A scraper makes short work out of fairing the putty bumps to the wood and cleaning off the excess putty.
