Yeh, she's been with me for around 11 years now and I'm getting near loosing her. Lots of folks got to meet her at R2K1 when I went up there. Names T.B. ( Turbo Bitch )..... don't ask.

She's 3/4's though. Mom was a Blue & German Sheperd mix and Dad was a full Blue/Silvertip. Her Mom was just as smart and loyal, but lost her 2 years ago.
They used to be real cheap but in the past year others are finding out how good they are and the prices are up to $100 and rising.

They are the only dogs I've seen that don't howl at sirens !! Weird! But, peaceful.

I will agree with you, they ARE one of the smartest breeds I know of. I'm looking for a Rehd now, and hopefully she will learn from T.B. I might get two, a red and a blue/silvertip as well. They are 2/3rd sized, smart, loyal, good with kids, and I believe they can actually read minds. Leave it to the Aussie's to build a great companion, eh?

I very seldom put her on a leash, and it's always fun when folks walk by with their dogs while T.B. is sitting in the yard ( front ). Their dogs are trying to pull them and knock them down to get to T.B. and she just calmly sits there with her head cocked and looks at me as if to say, "Gee, what's the big deal??" The people have often scolded me for not having MY dog on a leash, but I have to point out that THEY are the one's having the problem with THEIR dogs. ??? She's never had a lesson, but just listens when I talk to her and picks things up very quickly.

Always wanted a " Lil'-Rehd " ... and I think they are both good looking dogs.
