I'd like to start working on my second 'yak, and am considering a stripped deck on either a Squeedunk Cormorant or Cheseapeake 16'. What is the easiest method to go about stripping the deck? I'm assuming you'd use shear clamps, and use pkgng tape as a release over them. Attach temporary forms between the shears and strip away. Fiberglass the outside of the deck, remove from hull and then do the inside. Or is there a better way to do this?
