I straightened one edge using a router, a straight edge (a real long one) ... and a bunch-o-spring clamps to hold the straight edge on the plank. For a straight edge I used an 8' long piece of 2" wide 1/8" thick aluminum stock. I checked the straight edge for straightness using a tightened piece of string. If you try this method, make light cuts ... try to take off no more than 1/16" with each pass. I had a few planks that wanted to split when I used the router ... on those used a reverse cut and then made a final pass in the forward direction.
