Had I thought about it, I woulda used this method instead of my router method.

Lay out a straight line on the full length of a plank. Cut some straight strips of wood to fit the slot in your table saw. Tack the strips along the straight line on the plank. Slip the whole thing in the slot of your table saw and rip your straight edge.

You could do this for every plank ... or ... use the first plank as a sliding table to cut your other planks ... just tack a plank to it and run it through your saw. CAREFUL!
