In Response To: Material: Fiberglassing Over Wet Epoxy (Chip Sandresky)

When I joined my hull and deck I bushed on a strip of epoxy, then rolled out the fiberglass over the seam. Worked well enough for a 2 inch roll of tape, it held the tape in place as I rolled it off the 50yard roll. making it easy to cut the correct length. My shop was a mess at the time (dusty and cluttered) , it prevented the worry of getting dust in the epoxy, as the fiberglass went from the roll to the final resting place.

I think doing this on a large project would result in pushing ripples through the wet fiberglass, which for some reason I think could become ugly.

my 2 cents
