S&G: 2 layers at once

I usually wet my wood, put on a layer of cloth, wet out, squeegie, let it set up for a day and then add a second layer of glass with the same process.

Will I get just as good a bond by putting on the second layer of glass immediately and letting the two layers and epoxy set up together? I am using 4 ounce glass and System Three epoxy.
