S&G: How much time?

I have built 3 strip boats, but now have a new job with an awful hour requirment, and a 3 hour a day commute. No more time for strip building. I want to get a double in the water by spring (may-june). If I buy a kit, can I get it done in a couple of hours each weekend, and a few (read maybe 2) hours at night during the week?

How many hours will it realistically take compared to a strip boat.
