I had a number of conversations with the Australian distributor of PolyBond33, which claims to glue Coroplast and similar materials - something not many easily obtainable adhesives claimed to do.

His suggestion was to use the joining strips used around panelling in showers and wet areas. Sounded good, and easier than making backing strips - these could be added afterwards if needed for strength. I also considered the high strength tapes.

What convinced me to shelve this idea for the time being and go back to a more conventional SOF was the cost of the glue - The cost of the glue alone was more than I would spend on a SOF.

I did not investigate the tapes that deeply, but I believe the cost and risk of the entire thing failing meant I would be better off to start with something proven and experiment later.

If anyone has access to a good, cheap glue/tape for this material I'd really like to hear about it.
