Appreciate the look-see! I'll take a look later when I get home. When he'd dug this thing out of the tool crib I thought it was something he's concocted but it was all one piece and pretty interesting.

I was thinking that it would make paddle making, from one end to the other a continuous process and not have to swap tools all the time. ??
I have all these blank 2 x 4's sitting here with pencil lines on them, just waiting........
