What kind of planes (or tools) have you guys used to fair the hollows and concave sections of your hulls? I have the Veritas low angle block plane and their spokeshave which can be set flat or curved (front-to-back not side-to-side). I can't get at the concave areas with the block plane and the handle of the spokeshave keeps me from getting to some of the same areas. A scraper looks like it'll take forever (I didn't do a perfect job lining up strips). Should I just go to sandpaper? I also have an old stanley contractors grade block plane which i could grind a curve in as I think Nick suggests in his book - but how to get it properly curved and the blade with it would be a challenge.

What do you think? Suggestions?
