In Response To: Strip: endforms and #2/#15 stations (Andrew Smith)

Looking at the #2 station, the form's top is listed as 6.44" the bottom point at the keel is -.41 inches. The top of the end form matches within a hundredth of an inch. The bottom of the end form sticks out about 1/3 of an inch lower than the point of the form would. I don't know why.. It is not listed on any of Nick's errata. As this form is not split like the 1 and 1/2 stations, It seems that the point of the end form should match the keel point on the form or be slightly *less* so that the strips will lie flat on the beveled edge of the end form.

I also came across several points on the offsets tonight that don't seem to be listed on the errata.

Deck Buttocks at 8 inches on the 9th station is listed as 5.22 in the book and should be about 5.72" I believe. Deck buttocks at 9 inches on the 10th station is also in error... it should read 4.00 as this point is also defined in the table 4 inches above the waterline as 10.00 inches. The listed value of 4.27 inches is far from a fair curve.
