Hello all, the good news is that I am almost done with all the inlay work on my spring run. the bad news is, it seems that I have become alergic to one of the woods that I used for my inlay work. it looks like I will have to finish sanding in tyvek, full face respirator, and rubber gloves. My question is, what are the posability's of me now becoming sensative to other woods also? the suspected culprit is santos rosewood, but I am also using cypress, birch, black walnut and western red ceader. I have no known previous allergies, and I am in the process of working on my second boat.
another question is the fine dust of the rosewood is filling the larger pours of the cypress, and instead of a nice white deck I have real reddish white deck in the area of the rosewood. do you think that when I get to the final sanding with the 100 grit that the dust bleed thru can be elliminated?
thanks to all the people that post on this forum.
