: I am contemplating building my second strip boat this winter and I have a
: question about compatability of different brands of epoxy. I have some
: west system epoxy left from the last boat I build and would like to use
: this up, but I don't have near enough to build the new boat. I would like
: to try raka epoxy because of cost Can I use different brands of epoxy on
: different parts of the same boat?
: thanks

I have used Raka over West System and there were no problems. The only odd thing I noticed was that I could tell that there were different epoxies used when when sanding the filler coats of Raka over West System in that the sanding dust would stick (due to static?) differently to the different epoxies. But when Wiped off I couldn't tell any difference. Initailly I was concerned, but this had no effect on the finished results.
