: Thanks Ross,

: I will go home and check out what you mean... yes, if that point is left out
: of the curve, it is fair. Is there anyplace in the book which I do not
: remember which points out how these numbers are to be used? I remember the
: need for the knock out (which was not necessary for the Great Auk.) This
: is so the cockpit surround can be glued in. I don't remember where it says
: how high the knockout should be.

The last two lines of the offset table have the knockoff heights.
Draw a horizontal line from those points through the buttock 8 points
on forms 9 and 10 and I think your problems will go away.

: Oh, it may be obvious that I have started in earnest on a Guillemot. I got
: sick of how ugly the folder was getting, and have lost interest in it for
: now. :| Instead I am wanting to see something beautiful rising from the
: shop floor. I may use the folder's cloth for a Tulik and a sea sock and
: use the pipes as antenna masts... :)

: Rick

Cool. I lofted my Guillemot forms some time ago, but probably won't get
started building until spring. At least I got my Endeavour into the water ...
