The process I used is the same as the other postings. I sanded the end that mates to the deck opening with a block sander, After some practice, the fitting process goes faster. I used C/A, or instant glue with an accelerator to secure the strips. Include a full width strip every few rows to prevent the short pieces from sagging, just splice a bridging scrap piece to the shorter ones to tie them together. A lot easier than fitting both ends of one long strip. Work from back and front together to the middle, then fit a wedge-shaped piece.Hope this helps
