Better yet, use yellow glue. After you get 2 or 3 pieces placed, hit them with a heat gun, and it will set instantly.

Yellow glue sands better without clogging your sandpaper like hot glue dabs do. (of course, if you're not lazy like me, you will have already scraped your squeezeout!! :)

You can also use yellow glue and "rub" the piece into its spot. The friction will make the glue set up much faster...but not as fast as the heat gun!
