Hi Rick, there are an endless number of possibilities. I used the extremely dark/extremely light colors to make some nice contrasting patterns. If I was starting fresh today I would randomize some of the midtone strips. I kept strips together as they came off the saw and then layed them on the boat together. It's not a big deal but I think the resulting block pattern ditracts from the inlay.
