I just love that pine and cedar contrast. THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' 'BOUT!!!!! Nice job! And the thin accent strips--way to go!

: I didn't have a lot of neat wood, just red cedar and some pine and mahagony
: from the local lumber yard. I liked the asymetric look. Thin dark strip is
: 1/4" wide mahagony quartersawn , then 3/8" pine , then 2,
: 1/4" strips of mahagony again, but glued with the flatsawn side to
: the face. The flatsawn mahagony has a speckled fleck to it. The rest was
: just filling in the curves. FWIW!
