Epoxy thickened with a mixture of mostly glass microballoons, and a little phenolic microballoons and wood flour for color.
Wood flour ends up being darker than the wood it came from anyway, so adding the glass microballoons lightens it anyway.

BTW, I almost have my second outer seam done on the Cormorant, and I'll stand on the flat aft deck so we can see if it's strong enough!
