Shawn
: I just had a successful launch of my FAP-15 this morning. I rigged a
: temporary seat and seat back which will stay that way until I cut into the
: skin and make it a folder.
: A buddy took some photos that I'd love to post but don't have anywhere to put
: them on the web at the moment. If anyone could temporarily host them, I'd
: be happy to send them so folks could see.
: I'm rather inexperienced with paddling, so I'm not sure what to tell about
: its performance, other than no water leaked, it was a tad tippy for me at
: first until I got more comfortable, and after I got to where leaning into
: a turn felt better the boat seemed to move around well.
: It has 4 coats of elastomer on the hull, and I'm going to add a couple more.
: It also needs the coaming lip of 1/8" HDPE.
: Thanks to Tom and this list for encouragement as I've worked on making this
: dream a reality.
: Warmly,
: Wayne
