: Betsie Bay kayaks has a neat detail where they basically have a removable
: rear bulkhead. You cut an exact-size bulkhead, and cut the middle out
: (leaving a 1.5" or 2" wide ring that you glass into the hull aft
: the cockpit).

: You then cut another bulkhead (the "hatch cover") that is about
: 1/4" smaller all the way around. You can simply use thumbscrews
: through the hatch cover into T-nuts in the glassed-in ring.
