: Last night I was practicing my roll and missed 3 times. On the third try my
: bow slammed into the side of the pool. My Night Heron used to come to a
: 1/8-inch point. Now it ends in a 1/4-inch point. I am leaving for an
: island crossing tomorrow. Should I epoxy the end or just varnish
: (Interthane Plus) it after sanding round again?

: Sage.

given the short time I'd suggest buying the 5 minute epoxy. I used some for my combing lip, The brand I got was crystal clear. I think it was 'Lepage' but not 100% sure.

The stuff I bought came in a dual syringe setup... you have to make sure the two pools are the same size by eye, it is easy to do.

I bought the stuff at the local Canadian Tire store, I think most hardware stores carry it now in the glue section.

It takes 12 or 24 hours for full cure, (rather than weeks for my West epoxy)

Going with just varnish may be a bad Idea, I hear it is not advisable to put epoxy over varnish. I assume you want to fix it with epoxy later.

good luck
