: Last night I was practicing my roll and missed 3 times. On the third try my
: bow slammed into the side of the pool. My Night Heron used to come to a
: 1/8-inch point. Now it ends in a 1/4-inch point. I am leaving for an
: island crossing tomorrow. Should I epoxy the end or just varnish
: (Interthane Plus) it after sanding round again?

Cover the boo-boo with packing tape and go paddling. Take your time and fix it right when you actually have the time to do it properly. Quick epoxy isn't a bad idea either.

I'm with Lee--make a wider point.
