It will most likely be a decade or three b4 that happens here in Mississippi. We seem to lack people interested in preserving nature or the environment (in general). Most rivers and lakes are covered (on nice days) by jet-sleez. The 4-stroke idea is better, however, even as a motorcyclist I get feed up with those who make their bikes as loud as possible. I don't know how it is elsewhere, but here there seems to be no enforcement of the laws regarding "off road use only" exhaust systems. It can be defening at times. The low roaring Harley's aren't that bad, but those whiney croch-rockets are as annoying giant mosquitos. And no, I don't ride a Harley.
