So I guess you could say your model is stapless. Here's a special model clamp used for planking miniature ships.

You would need 2 to 3 packages of them. So that gets expensive. I might try them on a model. Haven't quite finalized my plan yet with your software. It's more of a flat water racing type model with NO initial stability. Hence the need for a model. Scale will be 1/4.
