It's no wonder this guy is controversial. I have no reason to doubt the accuracy of his information or honesty of his convictions, but applying it is another matter entirely. I looked that the diagrams for the recommended hoods and many of them are totally impractical, unless you want to hack up your tool cabinets or you're building your own power tools from scratch. For example, there is no way I could set up their recommended hood on my table saw, as there simply isn't enough room around the blade and it's attendant adjustment mechanism. Additionally, I simply don't have room for a huge double bag filter system and a cyclone.

FWIW, I'm probably going to buy one of the single bag, 1.5hp, 1 micron portable systems from Penn State. I can move it to the tool I'm using, much as I now do with my shop vac (equipped with a 1 micron pleated filter). With a short hose, it should provide plenty of airflow. If and when I have the room, this blower can readily be used with a cyclone and/or vented to the outside.
