I'm not sure it's the same amount of gratification as building a full-sized, just for the reason that I won't be able to paddle it. Now that the hull is almost fully stripped, and it looks like a kayak, I am getting more excited.

I started fairing some of the hull (just couldn't wait) using a cabinet scraper. I plan to do most of the fairing that way and do one final hand sanding right before glassing. Hopefully, I'll avoid scraping/sanding holes through it, but I'll let you know.

No test paddlers have surfaced yet.
