: I am at the point in my Guillemot expedition to cut the hatches into the
: deck. In Nicks book it says to wax the hatch cover to prevent the
: fiberglass lip from sticking to it. I am curious if there is a special wax
: required. Please help !?!
If sex wax can work, then why not that colored wax cosmetic in a tube?
Anyone want to experiment with some lip gloss or lipstick? The color would clearly show where it was applied, the wax content should prevent permanent bonding, and the applicator would be convenient for such thin areas as the mounts for hatches. Umm, we DO call those areas "lips", don't we?
Just a thought

Hey, it is almost Thanksgiving. If this idea is a turkey then at least it suits the season. A happy holiday to all.
