Owwwwwww. I ate too much. I barbequed the turkey this year. Used an upright smoker with more coals. I stood the bird up on end (cavity down) and did it beer butt style. I cut the top off a Fosters can and drank about half. To the rest of the beer add some rosemary, thyme, bay leaf, and majoram from the garden. Let it cook all day. The beer/herb steaming on the inside is the key to a moist bird. I haven't tried frying yet. Seems like a waste of oil...

Can't wait to see how I look in neoprene in January after all this has set in. I can hear it now.."hey Mom, is that an elephant seal over there?"
