In Response To: S&G: soft chines on S&G boats *LINK* (joe)
: Ran into an ad in the back of Boatbuilder Magazine for this S&G design, found
: it rather interesting...it's a S&G design, with (somewhat) soft chines.
: The design looks well thought out, has anyone had experience with this
: design, or any guesses as to how the rounded bilges affect the build
: process?
Log on to www.pygmyboats.com for lots of information on multi-chine vs. hard chine and a description of the multi-chine build process. Basically, just a bit more time to build because you have a couple more panels to stitch and glue.
