In Response To: Material: Wear strip (Don)

1. mix cabosil thickened to thick fillet consistancy, tinted with wood flour and apply with med/fast epoxy to masked area then smooth with alcohol as it sets up.
2. lay multiple strips of bias cut glass in decreasing dimensions then fair in.
3. get s-glass and do the same
4. attach 3/8" half oval brass
5. make slight slot/depression in wear area and lay dynel cord soaked in cabosil thickened epoxy into slot, press down with plastic tape/wrap, then fair with goop.
