: Wolfgang Brink makes a good point in his book about this subject. You will
: definately want to try the wiggle with full paddling clothes on! He says
: in the book (Aleutian Kayak) that he built a boat which he could get into
: with bare knees, but which prevented him from getting out (except very
: slowly) with his dry suit on. He ended up doing surgery on the Masik to
: make sure he was not underwater trying to slowly do a wiggle-wiggle.

I've found that when I'm upside down, that I can wiggle out of just about anything. It's much easier for me to get out of the kayak that way. I'm sure there is a reason for it but I'm so tired right now that I can't think of what it would be.

I'm not advicating overly tight cockpits, just snug.

So the next time you see me roll over and wet exit, I did it on purpose.
