my canoe builder friend told me that the most
: common repair he makes is when people forget to take their canoes off
: their car before going into the garage.
This is such a common problem with bikes on top of a car that some enterprising soul has built a little plastic label which can be tied to the garage door handle, so that when you open the door it is hanging in the middle of your way in waving in the breeze. It could be adapted for a kayak just as easily.
Perhaps one of the artists among us could do up a little sign which we could print and have laminated for our garage doors.
Personally I have been building canoes and kayaks in the garage since May, and there is no room in the inn for a car.
