Actually, you can reserve two. So, say you reserve sites 7 and 8, I request 9 and 10, Bill asks for 11 and 12, and so on...we end up with a group campsite, of sorts. I'm thinking we should plan something like this well ahead of time, and then strike with our camping requests at the stroke of midnight on April 1, 2003. Don Beale suggested this last year, but nobody coordinated it. I was too busy with da' kid, but would love to coordinate it this year.

As more people are interested, they plan to request adjoining sites. Even if you don't want to reserve two sites to hold a spot for someone else, plan to put your name down for a single spot if you want to camp with the other R2K3'ers.

Click here for a KayakWiki "game plan" so we can coordinate this. I'll put a table on KayakWiki so none of us request the same sites, raising the possibility that the folks in charge at Ft. Worden send a duplicate requester off to the nether reaches of the campground.

We don't know which weekend Joe will be able to confirm, but that shouldn't change our plans...as soon as we know what weekend, that's the one we request.

Also note that putting our names on this list doesn't guarantee any sites, but it should prevent overlap, and if we all get our requests sent in the very first minute we are able to, we have a reasonable chance of success.
