I do use the mask always but don't like the extra weight and drop in sensitivity with using the hose. Have looked at a dust collector unit for the shop but am concerned if I don't use a shop vac I would not use it and I would rather buy toys I use. Will also be going to the air sanders when the new compressor is hooked up and there is no attachment point on them for vaccuum. I suppose a hose could be taped on. Agree with the overhead idea as long as it doesn't interfere with the tunes -- besides, there is no extra room on the floor. The idea of the filtration unit was to make the ae better in the shop and cut down on the fines for when I take a mask off.
thanks

: Don Beale is the person to ask--he used to be in this line of work. Hopefully
: he'll chime in.
: I think so.
: Furnace filters. Use a pair of el-cheapos back-to-back as a prefilter before
: the fan, and then a good Hepa filter on the outflow end.
: Don F: I'm with Mark. Stick with the vacuum cleaner attachment. It's no fun,
: but it's probably more healthy. How about a hose hanger up with your
: stereo headphone wire hangers?
