In Response To: Strip: Breakaway Forms (Jay Thomas)

The Home Depot (here) carries Western Red Cedar. There were many worthless (for our needs) pieces, however after 30 mins or so of digging through their stacks, enough quality boards were found to build 2 or 3 kayaks. Total cost, around $85. If there are other HDs in your area you may want to search each one. A board here and a board there adds up. Good Luck on your project
